How to Estimate the Size of Party Tent(two)

Figure out whether you need many chairs, of you need, what kind of seating do you need, theater-style seating or round table. In general, only about 5 square feet per person is needed for theater-style seating. For the common 8 to 10 people seating round tables requires about 100 square feet per table. For 12-foot rectangular banquet tables which may sit12 people need about 120 square feet per table.

Prepare enough room to accommodate the wedding party. There is wedding party at wedding receptions. So provide enough room for a head table to accommodate the wedding party at wedding receptions seems to be important. 12-foot banquet table and 120 square feet of space should be provided at a wedding party of 12 people.

If there will be a dance party at your wedding, room for a dance floor should be kept. Each guest may need a 3 square feet of dancing space. Of course, not everyone at your wedding will dance, but make sure there will be enough space if they want to.

You should leave room for entertainment, such as a disc jockey table and equipment, band and stage. Generally, a 10-by-10-foot space will be enough for most disc jockeys. But for bands, more space will be needed which depending on the number of members and instruments.

make sure what kind of food you will provide for your guest, a plated meal or buffet. Buffets require more room under the main tent because you need a table for the food and room to form a line, but you might need a second tent to accommodate the equipment and food for a catered meal with wait service.
some additional space will be kept besides all the usage above. for example, you may want a open bar for your friends, then another about 200 square feet will be needed, of course, it is decided on the size of your bar. Some people may want a fountain or gift table, then another 100 square feet.
